The Linux Pre-Install RPM for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1
and 12.2 on Oracle Linux 7 is now available for use by customers. The package (oracle-ebs-server-R12-preinstall) is available on the 'addons' channel on the Oracle Unbreakable Linux Network (ULN, which requires a support contract) or from the Oracle public yum repository.
It is recommended that this x86_64 Pre-Install RPM be installed on top
of a 'minimal' installation of Oracle Linux to provide just the
necessary packages to install and run Oracle E-Business Suite Release
12.
